What Do You Do When You Don't Know What To Do?

Take the First StepAs of right now, Stacia and I are in quite a dilemma:  we don't know exactly what to do or where to focus our energies.  We do know:

1.  We want to work together to design our awesome lifestyle.

2.  We ultimately want to be able to work from anywhere in the world that we choose to be (and realize that we will need an internet connection).

3.  We are a bit limited in that we are not in the best situation to travel around the world right now - because her 13 year old son Makaya isn't really into it and my 10 year old daughter lives with her mom.  I do believe that Jackie would love to be home schooled and travel around the world, but her mom would not allow it (and Jackie would miss her if she did).

Stacia and I have our own ideas of what we'd like to do and how we can do it together.  She is really set on creating some type of video series product and selling it online.  I'm pretty sure that we need to build an audience and email list first.

We do have one project we're working on that is becoming clearer.  We want to work on a series of travel guides that show people the best parts of places we visit.  We're planning on spending a lot of time working on this while we are in Hawaii in October - but we're only scheduled to be there for 13 days - and we need to spend time with family and friends, do a photo shoot for the Clean Eating LiveIt program - and get some rest and relaxation.  At this point, we might have to forego the R&R - and hopefully extend our trip if we can afford to.

The good news is that we've started to do some planning and I have my best friend in the world, Mr. Ray Hironaka who is ready, willing and able to help us with this project.  He's a graduate of the famous Punahou school - just like current US President Barack Obama.  Ray is a great guy and knows a lot of people and seems very excited to help us with this project.  He sells sportswear, hats and shoes - mainly for the golf industry.  You can find Ray Hironaka's site at:  RaysSportswear.com (I really need to work on his site).

But I digress.  Yesterday we hit the library and checked out a bunch of travel books on Hawaii.  I'm going to go through and scan them, and begin to build an outline for our first travel guide:  The Locals Guide to Hawaii.  Guess that's what you do when you don't know what to do - take the first step .... and then the next.
