Yawgoo Valley Ski Area, Exeter, RI
Yawgoo Valley is the only skiing resort in
Rhode Island. It is located on a hill in
Exeter, south of Providence and opened in the 1965-66 season as "Rhode Island's first
chairlift served ski area."

Yawgoo Valley hires winter and season help. In the winter, they hire ski and snowboard instructors, retail shop staff (includes tuning up skis and snowboards), lift attendants, rental shop staff, cashiers, ticket sales, kitchen staff, bartenders and tubing park attendants, and ski patrol.
